Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly judge the nearest base station by simplified structure. SOLUTION: In mobile station equipment MS of a digital mobile communication system in which the mobile station equipment MS is connected with a mobile communication network with base station equipment BS1, BS2 of each cell under the mobile communication network by a cellular system, radio channel quality between the present station MS and one, or two or more pieces of the base station equipment BS1, BS2 required in the case of a reception stand-by processing or a switching processing of a calling channel of own station MS is evaluated based on a distortion amount (size or fluctuation, etc., of an eye opening) of a received detection signal of the own station MS. In addition, in the base station equipment BS1, BS2 of the digital mobile communication system, radio line quality between the present stations BS1/BS2 and the mobile station equipment MS required in the case of the switching processing of the calling channel for the mobile station equipment MS is evaluated based on the distortion amount of a received detection signal of the present stations BS1/BS2.
