When there is an incoming call, a control section 10 checks whether the telephone number of the origination source of the incoming call is registered in the phonebook 15b and also checks whether a current mode is included in modes made to correspond to the telephone number by referring to the mode table 15 to give notice of the incoming call with a ringtone set for the mode when the telephone number of the origination source is registered in the phonebook 15b and the current mode is included in the modes made to correspond to the telephone number.
