Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for a portable terminal suitable for reduc ing an adverse effect in using the portable terminal and preventing the portable terminal from compromising convenience in areas such as in the airplane, etc., where utilization of the portable terminal becomes serious problem. SOLUTION: A control base station 200 for setting which always transmits setting signals related to a setting of a level-suppressing mode is placed at an entrance 12 of an embarkation gate 10 and a control base station 210 for releasing which always transmits releasing signal related to a setting release of the level suppressing-mode is placed at an exist 14 of the embarkation gate 10. The portable terminal 100 is configured to set the level-suppressing mode when receiving the setting signals and to release the setting of the level- suppressing mode. When not in the level-suppressing mode, a wireless communication is possible to a ground base station. When in the level-suppressing mode, the wireless communication to the wireless base station in the plain is possible with a lower level power output than an output level which is used when communicating to the ground wireless base station.
