Abstract:

To provide a mobile terminal which can ensure operability without giving a sense of discomfort to a user.

A mobile terminal 1 comprises a touch panel display 11 on which a plurality of icons are arranged and displayed, and also includes a reaction area adjusting section 22 for adjusting shape of reaction area on the touch panel display 11 corresponding to the icon. The reaction area adjusting section 22 defines one of corners of the touch panel display 11 as a reference point, adjusts the reaction area of an icon closer to the reference point in a height direction H of a display of the touch panel display 11 to be longer in a width direction W on the display, and adjusts the reaction area of an icon farther from the reference point in the height direction H of the display to be longer in the height direction H on the display.
