To provide a mobile radio communications system, wherein the UMTS and other system coexist and the UMTS surely observes the frequency components of other system, capable of suppressing the deterioration in the interleave performance of a compressed-mode frame.
The mobile radio communications system adopts the CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) system, where the period required for transmission of a particular number of frames is used for a transmission period and frames is transmitted in units of the transmission periods, and is configured to comprise a communication apparatus for observing the frequency component of a control data transmission channel in other mobile radio communications system, by using a plurality of non-transmission time provided to each transmission period.
