Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mode lock laser device capable of satisfactorily outputting a first laser beam and a second laser beam of which the center wavelengths are different from each other.SOLUTION: The mode lock laser device includes a gain medium, an excitation light source, an optical path branch mechanism and a beam waist adjustment mechanism. The gain medium is positioned on an optical path of the first laser beam reciprocating between a first mirror and an output coupler and on an optical path of the second laser beam reciprocating between a second mirror and the output coupler and within the gain medium, beam waists of the first laser beam and the second laser beam are positioned. The beam waist adjustment mechanism adjusts a position of at least one of the beam waist of the first laser beam and the beam waist of the second laser beam in such a manner that an area within a focal depth of the first laser beam and an area within a focal depth of the second laser beam are separated from each other.
