Abstract:
To provide a mode transition controller for a hybrid vehicle which can improve responsiveness to the request of a driver.
The mode transition controller for a hybrid vehicle is provided with an accelerator pedal opening speed detection means which detects the opening speed of an accelerator pedal operated by a driver, and a transition control means which changes a present travel mode into an enhanced travel mode where a larger driving force can be outputted regardless of an optimum mode map when the detected opening speed of an accelerator pedal is high.
