This model forming method is for forming a desired model by combining a plurality of polygons, calculates motion vectors of each apex of the polygons based on apex connection information of mutually adjoining polygons, calculates motion vectors of internal points inside the polygons from ratio between the motion vectors and size of the adjoining polygons, extends/reduces the polygons and forms the model by combining the polygons. Consistency of the size and the shapes of the polygons is attained by extending/reducing the polygons by utilizing the apex connection information of the polygons even when the size and the shapes of the polygons are uneven and as a result, data amount of the polygons can be reduced.
