To provide a means capable of transporting a large model steam locomotive, which is hitherto difficult by a simple device.

The locomotive is held so as to be lifted through the treads of the driving wheels of the locomotive. Fittings shown in Fig. 1(not shown) are placed so that claws come into contact with the right and left of the foremost and rearmost driving wheels. The right and left fittings are connected together by respectively inserting two lower rods into holes D not to expand the fittings rightward and leftward. The holes D are located at positions which do not come into contact with a brake rod or the like. L7 and L4 are such numeric values as to allow the claws to come into contact with the suitable positions of the treads of the driving wheels while a small space is present between the ends of arms E and the surfaces of the driving wheels. Upper parts are connected by inserting an upper positioning rod to a hole B. L6 is L7-2t. The upper rods of the front and rear fittings are connected together by a connecting link a. L8 indicates a distance between the foremost driving wheel and the rearmost driving wheel.
