CONSTITUTION: Concerning the modeling supporting device for supporting system development by preparing a model diagram on a graphic screen by interacting with the worker, this device is provided with a template editing part 106 for preparing and displaying a template diagram describing the preparation view points of the model diagram, which is prepared and displayed by a model editing part 104, inputted by the preparing person of this model diagram, template storage part 109 for storing this template diagram, and modeling control part 105 composed of a corresponding information generating part 105a for generating the information of correspondence between the model diagram and the template diagram, modeling limitation information storage part 108 for storing this corresponding information, and template diagram output part 105b for reading, displaying and outputting the template diagram corresponding to the redisplayed model diagram based on the corresponding information, or the like.
