In the modesty panel 40 disposed between legs 5 on both sides of the table 1, the modesty panel 40 is vertically bisected and at least one of an upper side modesty panel 42 and a lower side modesty panel 41 is provided so as to be turned to a sitting side and a non-sitting side with its lower end as a fulcrum. For the leg 5, the lower side is turned to a vertically erected vertical part 6 and the upper side is turned to an inclined part 7 inclined upwards to the sitting side. The lower side modesty panel 41 is arranged at the vertical part 6 of the leg and the upper side modesty panel 42 is arranged at the inclined part 7 of the leg.
