Abstract:
To provide a modification method of an elevator by which an elevator device can be fixed to a beam while preventing hinderance of a space that can be used for installation of the elevator device in a hoistway.SOLUTION: The modification method of an elevator provided in a hoistway 14 adjacent to an elevator hall 15, includes a car removing step for removing a car unit 21 forming a loading space 24, a lifting unit removing step for removing a lifting unit 22 provided in the hoistway 14, and a door removing step for removing a door unit 23 provided between the elevator hall 15 and the hoistway 14.
