Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a wet wrinkle resistance and shrinkage resistance of a silk woven fabric by impregnating the silk woven fabric with a specific polyethylene glycol derivative, drying and then treating with a low temperature plasma. CONSTITUTION: This method for modification processing a silk woven fabric is to impregnate for imparting a polyethylene glycol derivative expressed by the formula [R1 is a divalent organic group; R2 is H or methyl; (n), (m) are each 3-30] to the silk woven fabric (the amount of attachment is preferably 2-10 wt.%), dry and then treat with a low temperature plasma (example; impressing 13.56 MHz high frequency wave at 0.1-1 W/cm<2> output).
