Abstract:
To provide a modified asphalt having excellent quality which is cheep and manufacturable at a temperature near the conventional asphalt manufacturing temperature, its manufacturing method and a uniform asphalt mixture.
The modified asphalt comprises a waste plastic containing as the major component at least one of a waste polystyrene, a waste polypropylene and a waste polyethylene; asphalt; and an additive compatible with the asphalt and exhibiting high affinity to the waste plastic.
