Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a modified farnesene polymer and production method therefor that can suppress the heat evolution due to the friction between the fillers, and that can improve the elastic modulus; also a rubber composition containing the modified farnesene polymer, and in which the crosslinked product thereof exhibits excellent hardness, mechanical strength, elastic modulus, and wear resistance; and furthermore a tire having excellent steering stability resulting from the high hardness, and excellent rolling resistance performance, by using the rubber composition at least in a part.SOLUTION: There is provided a modified farnesene polymer comprising one or more of functional group selected from dicarboxylic acid structure (a1), dicarboxylic acid monoester structure (a2), dicarboxylic acid monoamide structure (a3), and carboxylic acid anhydride structure (a4), and in which the total of the (a1) to (a3) per the total of the (a1) to (a4) is 80 mol% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
