Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified lignosulfonate having high dispersibility at high temperature and low contaminative tendency and giving low viscosity in the form of an aqueous solution, being suitable as a dye dispersant. SOLUTION: This modified lignosulfonate is characterized by containing 9.0-14.0 wt.% of sulfonate group and 5.0-9.0 wt.% of carboxy group and having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000-20,000. This dye dispersant comprises the modified lignosulfonate.
