Abstract:

To provide a highly productive refolding method of a protein by which the highly pure protein can be obtained in mass without requiring large dilution of the protein while keeping the refolding effect higher than that of the conventional one; and to provide a porous material usable therefor.

The modified porous material (A) is used for the refolding of the unfolded protein, and carries a group represented by general formula (1). The refolding method of the unfolded protein involves a step for refolding the protein by using the modified porous material. The method for producing the protein involves a step for refolding the protein by the refolding method. The protein obtained by the production method is also provided.
