To provide a modified propylene-based polymer which has a wide molecular-weight distribution and is excellent in flowability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.
The modified propylene-based polymer is obtained by heat treatment of a propylene-based polymer (A), an ethylenically unsaturated bond containing monomer (B) and an organic peroxide (C). With regard to each treatment quantity of (A), (B) and (C) in the modified propylene-based polymer, (B) is 0.1-50 pts.wt. and (C) is 0.01-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of (A). The method for manufacturing the modified propylene-based polymer is provided. The propylene-based polymer (A) comprises 0.05-90 wt.% of a propylene-based polymer component (A1) whose limiting viscosity [η]A1 measured in tetralin at 135°C is ≥5 dl/g and ≤15 dl/g and 10-99.5 wt.% of a propylene-based polymer component (A2) whose limiting viscosity [η]A2 measured in tetralin at 135°C is ≥0.1 dl/g and <5 dl/g.
