Abstract:

To inexpensively and readily obtain a modified synthetic fiber which is produced by sticking a modifier on a molten yarn in spinning of synthetic fiber, is provided with new function and feeling and has durability.

This modified synthetic fiber having new function, feeling and durability is inexpensively and readily produced by sticking a functional agent or short cut fibers on a molten yarn by a method of hot-air blowing or charging adsorption in spinning of synthetic fiber while controlling fusion of mutual fibers and breakage in spinning of synthetic fiber.
