Abstract:
To eliminate the defects of the conventional hydraulic inorg. compsn. and to produce a hydraulic inorg. compsn. ensuring easy work at the time of application and having improved water resistance.
A copolymer (A) consisting of a vinyl compd. and an unsatd. dicarboxylic acid anhydride and having an acid value of 200-400 and at least one kind of polymer (B) selected from among organopolysiloxane and its derivs. are dissolved in water in the presence of an alkaline compd. so that the weight ratio of A:B is regulated to 20:1 to 1:20 to obtain the objective modifier for a hydraulic inorg. compsn. The objective hydraulic inorg. compsn. having improved water resistance contains the components A, B by 0.01-20wt.% in total.
