Abstract:
To obtain a processability modifier for vinyl chloride resin and a vinyl chloride resin composition excellent in processability prepared by compounding a vinyl chloride resin with the modifier.
This modifier for vinyl chloride resin consists of a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (A) 55-95wt.% aromatic vinyl monomer, (B) 45-5wt.% vinyl cyanide monomer and 0-50wt.% other copolymerizable monomer [here, (A)+(B)+(C)=100wt.%] and has an intrinsic viscosity of ≥1.5dl/g. The vinyl chloride resin composition is composed of 0.5-60wt.% above modifier for vinyl chloride resin and 99.5-40wt.% vinyl chloride resin as main components.
