PURPOSE: To enhance the machining speed and stability as well as improvement of electrode wear by adding a certain type of interface activating agent to the machining liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The machining liquid used shall contain an anion interface activating agent of borous ester type. As the machining liquid named, is used kerosene, transformer oil, etc. The discharge machining liquid improvement agent is prepared by adding approx. 0.1W20 anion interface activating agent of borous ester type in proportion by weight to 100 machining liquid. This improvement agent is added in an amount of 1W20wt% to the machining liquid. This addition can enhance the efficiency of discharge machining, which will assure provision of the surface machined with uniform properties.
