To provide fixed attenuation to a signal passing into a terminal-side signal terminal from a station-side signal terminal by including, in a connection circuit, a loss circuit for providing the fixed attenuation to the signal.
A connection box is provided with a first station-side signal terminal 11, a first terminal-side signal terminal 12, a connection circuit connected to a corresponding electrode, a lightning arresting discharge element 20 connected between a conductor of the first station-side signal terminal 11 and the grounded potential, and a second station-side signal terminal 21 and a second terminal-side signal terminal 22 for inserting signal input and output lines having no plug, all of which are mounted on a substrate 14, and a cover 16 tightened to a bottom plate 15. The connection circuit includes a loss circuit for providing specified fixed attenuation to a signal passing into the first terminal-side signal terminal 12 from the first station-side signal terminal 11. The loss circuit consists of a resistor, a coil, and a capacitor. Due to this structure, connection can be established so that the signal may be provided with the appropriate attenuation.
