Abstract:
To reduce voltage ripple in a DC link capacitor and apply a small capacity capacitor in a modular multilevel cascade converter.SOLUTION: A current command value computation unit 18a normally outputs, as a cell module output current command value I*, a commutation command value obtained by adding a fixed value α to an output current detection value Iinv. When a switching element of a phase to be controlled is ON, the current command value computation unit outputs, as the cell module output current command value I*, a value obtained by superimposing harmonics on a charging/discharging current command value obtained by multiplying a deviation between a cell capacitor voltage average value Vcang and a cell capacitor voltage command value VDC(1+β)/n with a gain Gc, during a fixed time period Δtc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
