Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for eliminating bubbles from the blood in a low- priced, movable, simple and reliable at-home blood dialysis system requiring minimum labor of a patient by automating all processes.
SOLUTION: This system is provided with a front cover 1002, a rear cover 1008 and a liquid circuit board 1004 provided between the front cover and the rear cover and having opposite surfaces of a front part and a rear part facing to the front cover and the rear cover. In this liquid circuit board, a blood chamber 1014 and an air chamber are formed, and a fine porous film separates the blood chamber from the air chamber. The system is also provided with a fine porous film support means, a pressure sensor, a blood inlet port 1022, a blood outlet port 1020 and an air port communicating with the air chamber so that gas passes for discharge from the blood chamber through the fine porous film.
