Abstract:
To provide a modularized electrochemical element having high volume energy efficiency and safety in which a dimensional variation due to expansion or contraction of the electrochemical element can be absorbed even if the electrochemical element is expanded or contracted.
A modularized electrochemical element contains a plurality of stacked unit cells 20 in an enclosure 40, and adhesive thin film spacers 21 that are interposed between adjoining unit cells 20 and between the main surface of the cell 20 and the inner surface of the enclosure 40. Preferably the spacer 21 has a thickness of 50 μm or more and 5 mm or less.
