Abstract:
To provide a furnace construction method which can alleviate modification work of module block installment at a construction site and accurately and efficiently perform the installment.SOLUTION: A module block production method for producing a module block comprises: a stacking-up step of stacking up a plurality of definite form refractories at a site other than a construction site of a furnace to give a module block; a measurement step of measuring a profile shape of at least a portion of a lower surface of the module block obtained at the stacking-up step; a determination step of determining whether or not shape correction is required on the basis of the profile shape measured at the measurement step; and a shape correction step of correcting a shape of the module block for which determination at the determination step that the shape correction is required is made.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
