Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a photogenerating device of high cooling effect therefore high generating efficiency by forming a photoelectric converter element film consisting of amorphous Si film on the outer surface of a conductive hollow cylinder and using the hollow cylinder as a base body side electrode and a cooling fluid tube. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical hollow base body with the outlet and inlet of a cooling fluid is prepared using a metal such as aluminum, stainless steel, nickel, tungsten, etc., which has good electric conductivity and heat conductivity or a ceramic which is coated with a thin metal film and also has good heat conductivity. Next, an amorphous silicon semiconductor film is coated on its surface using silane gas by the reactive deposition sputtering method of silicon in hydrogen atmosphere or high frequency ion plating simultaneously adding diborane and phosphine, and thus a Schottky type solar cell is made. By so doing, the base body is used as one electrode of the cell and a cooling fluid is flowed inside the base body.
