Abstract:

To provide a module for removing metals in a high-viscosity liquid, the effective ion exchange capacity of which is made high, the ion exchange rate of which is also made high and in which a practical treatment flow rate can be secured and a short pass is not generated.

A filtration member is formed by bundling/fixing many functional and fibrous base materials, each of which is obtained by fixing functional groups having ion exchanging ability or metal chelate forming ability on the surface of a fibrous base material, without leaving no space between the adjacent functional and fibrous base materials. A liquid-tight shell body, which has an inflow port of the liquid to be treated, an outflow port of the treated liquid and a flow passage from the inflow port of the liquid to be treated to the outflow port of the treated liquid through the filtration member, is arranged on the outer periphery of the filtration member.
