The insertion element (200) is used in the gel electrophoretic device (100) and includes a carrier element (400) equipped with one or a plurality of gel strip housing parts (401). Gel strips (500) are respectively housed in one or a plurality of the gel strip housing parts (401) and demarcation frames (600) are housed in one or plurality of the gel strip housing parts (401) so as to be positioned in the vicinity of the gel strips (500).
