The module type connector includes a pin connector having a positioning pin mounted on a printed board, a solder tab, and a guide hole provided on a connector connecting side; and a socket connector to which the pin connector is connector-connected, configured so that the pin connector is connector-connected, the socket connector including a guide pawl to be inserted to the guide hole and lateral flanges to be mounted on a mounting panel, the height positions of the lateral flanges being offset by the flange thickness so that the socket connector can laterally float on the mounting panel.
