PURPOSE: To constitute a base module for fuel filter assembly applicable easily for using or nonusing of a diverter valve module supplying an auxiliary fuel into a combustion engine, and the like.
CONSTITUTION: A base module 12 of a filter assembly 10 for filtering a fluid flow has a base part material 20 to which either a sealing plug 14 or a diverter valve module 60 can be mounted. When the module is used for a combustion engine necessitating a low pressure auxiliary fuel, the plug 14 is changed to the diverter valve module 60. A solenoid valve is included in the module 60. A pressure control valve 64 positioned in the module 60 maintains a back pressure in the filter assembly so as to insure a sufficient pressure to introduce the fuel into the combustion engine.
