PURPOSE: To perform the moisture-control in a humidity-conditioning apparatus for coal in high accuracy and reduce the total energy consumption by controlling the heat quantity inputted to a drier based on the deviation of the calculated real moisture- content of the moisture-conditioned coal at the outlet of the drier from the target moisiture content of the moistrure-conditioned coal at the outlet of the drier.
CONSTITUTION: The moisture content control in a moisture-conditioning apparatus for coal is carried out by calculating a calculated real moisture content Moc(%) from the measured amount of charged wet coal at the inlet of a drier, the moisture content of the wet coal at the inlet of the drier and the discharging amount of moisture- conditioned coal at the outlet of the drier by the formula [G1 is the amount (t/h) of moisture-conditioned coal charged into the drier; Go is the amount (t/h) of moisture- conditioned coal discharged from the drier; M1 is the moisture content (%) of the wet coal at the inlet of the drier] and controlling the heat quantity inputted into the drier based on the deviation of the calculated real moisture content of the moisture- conditioned coal at the outlet or the drier from the target moisture-content of the moisture-conditioned coal at the outlet of the drier.
