PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition having excellent storage stability, having readily adjustable curing rate in a fixed range, comprising a terminal NCO group-containing urethane prepolymer, an alicyclic enamine derivative and a specific moisture-curing promoter.
CONSTITUTION: This polymer composition comprises a terminal NCO group- containing urethane prepolymer, (B) an alicyclic enamine derivative of the formula [A is 1-22C branched chain or alicyclic secondary diamine residue; B is 1-6C alkyl or E; (n) is 2-4] and (C) a moisture-curing promoter selected from an inorganic acid, an organic acid, its anhydride, ester and an acidic salt. The component B is preferably obtained by subjecting a secondary diamine to provide the residue A and an alicyclic ketone to azeotropic dehydration reaction in the presence of a solvent such as cyclohexane and reacting the formed alicyclic enamine with an electrophilic compound. Piperazine is preferable as the secondary diamine and cyclopentanone is preferable as the alicyclic ketone.
