To provide a moisture detection sensor not requiring much labor in manufacturing.

The moisture detection sensor 100 includes a lengthy sensor part 12 constituted of an insulator on the tip of a base body 1 having a handle 9. In the sensor part 12, a conductive coil 4 used as a plus contact and a conductive coil 5 used as a minus contact are engaged and arranged coaxially at a prescribed interval in the noncontact state, and each conductive coil 4, 5 has a bent part in the thickness direction of the base body 1. Manufacture is simple because many plus contacts and minus contacts can be formed simply substantially on the sensor part 12 only by piling the conductive coils 4, 5. Since the sensor part 12 has the bent part in the thickness direction of the base body 1, even if an angle of the moisture detection sensor 100 is changed, detection accuracy is not lowered. Further, suitability to a detection object is improved by forming the sensor part 12 circularly in the longitudinal direction, to thereby heighten detection accuracy.
