Abstract:
To provide a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet capable of effectively preventing rain water from infiltrating into a building material containing an insect repellent and/or an antiseptic.
The surface of a porous hydrophobic resin sheet or that of a hydrophobic nonwoven fabric is treated with a treatment agent containing a fluoroalkane, to which a radically-polymerizable group and/or a hydrolytically-condensable group are bonded directly or while interposing a linker therebetween, to obtain the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet. The moisture-permeable waterproof sheet can be utilized suitably as a substratum of the building material (such as a furring strip and a crosspiece) containing the insect repellent and/or the antiseptic.
