This moisture-proof insulation coating materal includes: (A) a block copolymer provided with a skeleton containing at least two vinyl aromatic polymer blocks and at least one conjugated diene polymer block, or hydrogenated resin thereof; (B) a tackifying resin; and (C) a solvent, wherein the content of unpolymerized vinyl aromatic monomer in the moisture-proof insulation coating materal is less than 300 ppm and the content of a vinyl aromatic oligomer is less than 300 ppm.
