Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a water-in-oil type emulsified composition, excellent in emulsification stability and feeling of use and suitably usable as a skin external preparation.
CONSTITUTION: The objective water-in-oil type emulsified composition is obtained by blending (A) one or more compounds expressed by the formula [at least either of X and Y is ester-forming residue of sterol and the rest is H or ester-forming residue of 8-30C liquid higher alkyl or alkenyl or 12-38C solid saturated monohydric alcohol; COR is 8-22C long-chain acyl; (n) is 1 or 2] with (B) one or more water-soluble polymers having sulfuric acid ester group, amino group or peptide bond, e.g. chondroitin sulfate, dermatan sulfate, water-soluble chitin, partially deacetylated chitin, α-or γ-polyglutamic acid or hydrolyzed collagen as essential ingredients. The amounts of the ingredients are 1-50wt.% ingredient (A) (preferably 1-10wt.%, especially preferably 1-5wt.% in the case of a cream) and 0.002-10wt.%, preferably 0.01-3wt.% ingredient (B). This composition has the effects.
