Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for a U-shaped molding, which can prevent deterioration of yield without increasing man-hours.SOLUTION: A mold is to obtain a U-shaped molding by press molding a metal plate in a shape including a curved portion with a curvature in a longitudinal direction in such a manner that a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is U-shaped, and that at least a portion of a bottom part side of the U shape in the longitudinal direction is projected. The mold has a die and a punch, and the die, having a movable part forming a molding surface corresponding to a side part of the curved part, is constituted for applying pressure to the punch side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
