Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mold automatic clamp device in a tire vulcanizer constituted so as to prevent a falling accident of a mold by receiving the falling-off of a clamp rod even in a case that the automatic clamp device is damaged by an operational mistake or the like and the weight of the mold is applied to the clamp rod as it is and to ensure safety even in the unexpected situation.
SOLUTION: The mold automatic clamp device is equipped with a locking mechanism for locking or unlocking the locking part 30 of the clamp rod 3 with respect to a part 20 to be locked and a lock mechanism for locating the locking mechanism at a position on a locking side and a position on an unlocking side with respect to the part to be locked. A protrusion 60 is formed to the outer periphery of the clamp rod while a stepped part 62 is formed to the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 40 under the protrusion and the falling-off of the clamp rod from the cylinder is prevented by receiving the protrusion by the stepped part.
