Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold centrifugal casting method capable of suitably performing the drawing out of a cast iron tube from a mold.SOLUTION: Provided is a mold centrifugal casting method where a mold is provided with a circulation passage of cooling water, while rotating the mold as cooling water is made to flow through the circulation passage, a molten metal is made to flow into the mold to cast a cast tube, and the cast tube is drawn out and released from the mold. At the time of the casting, the temperature Wof the cooling water after the mold circulation is measured, and, at a timing in which the measured temperature Wis held for a fixed time and is reduced, the drawing out of the cast tube is performed. The cast iron has a time in which temperature during eutectic solidification is made almost fixed, and, since the temperature of the cooling water is also made fixed at this time, the temperature of the cooling water is continuously measured, and, when the drawing out of the cast iron tube from the mold is started at the timing in which the measured temperature is made fixed or after the passage of a fixed time from the timing, the time is made into the one at which the eutectic solidification of the cast iron tube is completed, thus smooth drawing out can be performed. By performing the drawing out at this fixed timing, the production of the cast iron tube can be stably performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
