Abstract:
To provide a mold clamping device capable of maintaining good balance of a tie bar axis.SOLUTION: A mold clamping device 31 has: a fixed platen 32a on which a fixed mold 102 is fixed; a movable platen 32b to which a movable mold 103 is fixed; a toggle mechanism 37 that moves the movable platen 32b forward and backward; and a toggle support 34 that supports the toggle mechanism 37 and is connected to the fixed platen 32a via a tie bar 32c. The toggle support 34 has: a tie bar connection 34a to which the tie bar 32c is connected; a link connection 34b to which the toggle mechanism 37 is connected; and a restraining part 34c that is located between the tie bar connection 34a and the link connection 34b to restrain transmission of inclination of one connection 34a, 34b to the other connection 34a, 34b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
