To provide a mold device that can mold a material to be worked in a state that a lubricating oil of a sufficient amount for punch is attached thereto and prevent the material to be worked from deforming due to pressure of the supplied lubricating oil.
The mold device 1 includes a relief valve 33 which maintains lubricating oil pressure in a lubricating oil storage space S to the pressure equal to or lower than setting pressure P0. The relief valve 33 shuts off the flow of a fluid from the lubricating oil storage space S to a lubricating oil passage 121 when the lubricating oil pressure in the lubricating passage 121 is equal to or lower than the setting pressure P0 which is a predetermined upper limit pressure that the material to be worked W is not deformed. The relief valve maintains the lubricating oil pressure in the lubricating oil storage space S to the pressure equal to or lower than the setting pressure P0 by allowing the flow of the fluid from the lubricating oil storage space S to the lubricating oil passage 121 when the lubricating oil pressure in the lubricating oil passage 121 exceeds the setting pressure P0.
