PURPOSE: To restore the same shape as the form of a body accurately and easily by impregnating a bag body shaped of a flexible permeable material with a thermosoftening material such as wax, covering the body having the restoring form of the bag body with the bag body, removing the body after curing and forming a mold.

CONSTITUTION: A bag body 1 shaped of a flexible permeable material such as cloth is impregnated with a thermosoftening material 2 such as wax. Consequently, when the bag body is impregnated with the thermosoftening material 2, the bag body 1 may be dipped into the thermosoftening material 2. A body having the same shape as a restoring shape is covered with the bag body before the thermosofening material 2 is not cured yet. When a made-to-order shoe is manufactured, the shoe is put on a leg 3. When the material is removed from the body after curing, a mold is formed. Accordingly, gypsum is flowed into the mold formed, thus restoring the same shape.
