This mold for forming a sound-absorbing material, etc., made of glass wool is composed of a male mold 19 and a female mold 5 making a pair. The male mold 19 is freely contactable to and separable from the female mold 5. The female mold 5 is composed of divided one half body 5a and the other half body 5b which are pivoted in freely tiltable state. The inner side face of the female mold 5 is brought into contact with the outer side face of the male mold 19 when the male mold 19 is moved to a prescribed position and the female mold 5 is erected. The male mold 19 and the female mold 5 are provided with a number of through holes 25 for passing hot air to effect the thermal curing of the molding material filled between both molds. The procedures from the supply of the molding material to the completion of the molding is continuously carried out in high efficiency by the use of this mold.
