There is disclosed a method of fabricating a mold 39' that includes the following steps of: (a) providing a substrate having a top layer 21' and a bottom layer 23' made of a electrically conductive micromechanical material, and secured to each other by an electrically insulating intermediate layer 22'; (b) etching at least one pattern in the top layer 21' as far as the intermediate layer 22' to form at least one cavity in the mold; (c) coating the top part of the substrate with an electrically insulating coating material; and (d) directionally etching the coating material and the intermediate layer to limit the presence of the coating material and the intermediate layer exclusively at each vertical wall 31' formed in the top layer.
