Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a golf ball having a satisfactory surface state for smoothly, effectively externally releasing gas, the air at the time of molding and preventing external appearance fault such as a weld mark by reducing formation of flash as much as possible by using a mold for molding the ball.
SOLUTION: In the mold for injection molding a golf ball comprising a hollow ball-like cavity having a core 5 disposed therein, a plurality of core supporting pins 7 advancing into or retracting from the cavity 4, and a plurality of resin injection gates 10 provided at a predetermined interval, the pins 7 are disposed so that its end of supporting the core 5 is substantially positioned on a weld line W of injected resin.
