Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mold for manufacturing fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin pipes capable of being reduced in weight by practicably manufacturing fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin pipes with excellent quality having practically no buckling of reinforcing fibers in an atmospheric furnace of single temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The pipe comprises a rod-shaped heat expandable core and a cylindrical metal outer mold 1 disposed at the outside of the core and a heat-insulation layer 6 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical metal outer mold 1.
