Abstract:
To provide a mold manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a mold capable of imparting proper astigmatism quantity without taking much labor, and the mold manufactured by the method.
Strain can be imparted to a mold transfer surface 4c directly by operation for fitting a cylindrical pin 5c in a recessed part 4b having an oval cross section and desired astigmatism can be imparted to an optical element or the like molded on the basis of this strain.
