Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold material for casting capable of efficiently enhancing strength (hardness) and conductivity with a latter aging treatment even when it is slow cooled after a spray coating treatment and a Cu-Cr-Zr alloy raw material suitable of the mold material for casting.SOLUTION: There is provided a mold material for casting used when a metal material is casted, having a composition containing Cr of 0.3 mass% or more and less than 0.5 mass%, Zr of 0.01 mass% or more and 0.15 mass% or less and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities and having an acicular deposit or a tabular deposit containing Cr.SELECTED DRAWING: None
